Integrated Service Supervisor – Hotel Services

About the role

The Integrated Service Supervisor will lead the Hotel Services team at Gorbals Health Centre, ensuring high‑quality cleaning, catering, and patient clothing services are delivered safely and efficiently. This part‑time, permanent position reports to the line manager and works within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde framework.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assist all integrated service activities, ensuring schedules are followed.
• Maintain safe systems of work and high standards of personal and general food hygiene.
• Report faults, manage equipment use, and ensure staff follow safety procedures.
• Provide performance counselling, organise rotas, and arrange cover for absences.
• Support staff PDP processes, handle client complaints, and conduct team briefs.
• Complete required paperwork, follow statutory and divisional procedures, and assist with payroll information.
• Maintain stock levels and oversee stock control.
• Deliver induction and ongoing work‑based training.

Required profile

• Knowledge of integrated service functions (training provided).
• Understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, lifting and handling, and infection control practices.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate (training provided).
• Supervisory training (training provided).
• Driving licence is desirable.
