Integrated Service Supervisor – Hotel Services

About the role

The Integrated Service Supervisor – Hotel Services will lead a team delivering cleaning, catering, personal clothing, and porter services within the Gorbals Health Centre. This part‑time permanent role ensures high standards of hygiene, safety and customer service across all hotel‑related functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in all integrated service activities, ensuring schedules are followed.
• Maintain safe systems of work and enforce health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Monitor personal and general food hygiene standards throughout the department.
• Report faults, manage equipment use and ensure proper stock control.
• Provide induction and ongoing training, and support payroll documentation.
• Organise staff rotas, arrange cover for absences and conduct performance counselling.
• Handle client complaints at first point of contact and ensure timely self‑assessment and briefings.

Required profile

• Knowledge of integrated service functions (training provided).
• Understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, lifting and handling, and infection control (training provided).
• Basic Food Hygiene certification (training provided).
• Supervisory training (training provided).
• Desirable: a valid driving licence.
