Interim Employee Relations Advisor/Manager – Financial Services

About the role

This interim position supports a leading international financial services organisation in London. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and senior managers, providing expert employee‑relations advice while handling a variety of casework and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver employee‑relations guidance on grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, appeals and performance issues.
• Prepare documentation for hearings, meetings and appeals.
• Manage complex cases, including tribunal‑related activity when required.
• Collaborate with Legal and Data teams on Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• Contribute to HR policy development and employee guidance material.
• Facilitate employee‑relations training for managers and HR staff.
• Maintain accurate ER data, reporting and management information.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of employee‑relations advisory experience within UK employment law, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Proven ability to manage cases from initial concern through to resolution.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Degree‑educated or equivalent experience; CIPD qualification desirable.

• Competitive daily rate of £300‑£500 via umbrella, dependent on experience.
• Immediate start on a six‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
