Interim Employee Relations Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Interim Employee Relations Consultant to manage a complex and active ER caseload for a leading tech firm in London. This hybrid, three‑month assignment requires a commercially‑minded specialist who can assess risk, navigate complexity and drive cases to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of grievances, disciplinaries, tribunal activity and settlements.
• Take ownership of live tribunal cases, preparing documentation, chronologies and coordinating with legal advisers.
• Support Data Subject Access Requests in line with UK GDPR.
• Draft high‑quality correspondence, investigation reports and outcome letters.
• Provide pragmatic, risk‑based advice to HR and business stakeholders.
• Track and manage live cases, ensuring visibility of risks, deadlines and dependencies.
• Identify and implement improvements to ER processes, governance and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex ER casework in a fast‑paced UK commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, tribunals and ACAS frameworks.
• Proven experience supporting tribunal claims and working with legal advisers.
• Experience handling sensitive grievances and contentious disputes.
• Working knowledge of DSARs in an employment context.
• Legally trained or qualified with an employment law focus is preferred.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
