Interim Finance Business Partner

About the role

This interim position offers a finance professional the chance to work within a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed professional services firm in the North West. You will operate on a hybrid model, spending two days a week in the Altrincham office, and will report directly to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decisions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, providing clear commentary on performance.
• Analyse profitability, cost drivers and revenue streams for commercial initiatives.
• Develop financial models for business cases, investment decisions and PE‑driven projects.
• Challenge assumptions with senior leadership to improve financial performance.
• Assist with board reporting and investor presentations as required.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across the business.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role.
• Experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.
• Previous exposure to a private‑equity backed business is advantageous.
