Interim Housing Partnerships Manager – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are supporting a values‑led housing organisation in the North West of England to appoint an Interim Housing Partnerships Manager on a 6‑month contract (inside IR35). The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the office, and offers a daily rate of £300‑£350. You will help shape housing services, strengthen external partnerships and drive sustainable community outcomes during a period of organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead housing and tenancy management activities across the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, housing associations, support agencies and service providers.
• Oversee performance of voids, lettings and tenancy sustainment, ensuring new residents settle successfully.
• Act on resident feedback to promote positive outcomes.
• Support the review and improvement of housing management systems, processes and service standards.
• Collaborate with technical and operational colleagues to resolve complex housing issues.
• Contribute to community‑building initiatives and partnership projects that enhance resident wellbeing.

Required profile

• Strong experience in housing and tenancy management.
• Proven track record of partnership working with local authorities, housing associations and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement.
• Highly organised, proactive and solutions‑focused.
• Experience within smaller housing organisations is advantageous.
