International A Level English Language Examiner

About the role

We are seeking an International A Level English Language Examiner to assess candidates’ responses against the 2016 specification. The role is performed remotely using Pearson’s ePEN marking platform, with a marking period from May to July.

Key responsibilities

• Mark exam scripts accurately and consistently in line with the predefined mark scheme.
• Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at scheduled times.
• Adhere to marking milestones and meet all deadlines.
• Complete required administrative tasks as specified.

Required profile

• At least one academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, preferably in the relevant subject.
• Hold a university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong subject knowledge of English Language A Level (2016 specification).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ePEN marking platform for online script assessment.
