International Account Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

The International Account Manager will support Valpak’s Environmental Compliance Management (ECM) service, helping clients meet overseas environmental legislation. You will act as the primary contact for international compliance, delivering excellent customer service and driving sales of compliance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret environmental compliance legislation in target countries.
• Manage international client accounts, handling enquiries, forecasts and invoicing.
• Liaise with overseas compliance schemes and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and submit compliance data, reports and legal documentation.
• Attend sales and client meetings, presenting and selling international compliance services.
• Provide training and resources to internal teams on specific country legislation.

Required profile

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Minimum education to A‑level standard; degree level is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly IT literate, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
