International Account Manager

About the role

Valpak, the UK’s leading provider of environmental compliance, is part of Reconomy’s global compliance offering. The International Account Manager will support customers outside the UK by researching overseas legislation, managing accounts and ensuring compliance with international environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret environmental compliance legislation in target countries.
• Manage international customer accounts, acting as the first point of contact for calls and emails.
• Provide advice, forecasts and invoicing for compliance services.
• Liaise with overseas compliance schemes and coordinate scheme registrations.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports and communicate obligations to clients.
• Support sales activities by presenting services to prospects and following up leads.
• Deliver training sessions and maintain resources for the wider team.

Required profile

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Minimum education to A‑level standard; degree level preferred.
• Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work with limited supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong IT literacy.
