International Account Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑moving international procurement and supply‑chain business as an International Account Manager. Based in Watford, you will work from the office to manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and deliver procurement solutions to industrial clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Source products from UK and global suppliers and develop long‑term relationships.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations, pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations for customers and manage purchase orders through to completion.
• Analyse technical customer requirements and identify suitable sourcing solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial support to both customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance teams to ensure excellent service.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with specifications and maintain procurement documentation.
• Achieve individual KPIs, procurement targets and sales objectives.

Required profile

• Fluent English and proficiency in at least one additional language.
• Previous experience in account management, buying, procurement, purchasing, supply chain or strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑management abilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple quotations, orders and deadlines simultaneously.
