Sales Order Processor – Customer Order Management

About the role

The Sales Order Processor will join an established team and provide essential support to the sales function. You will handle a high volume of customer enquiries, process orders and keep clients informed throughout the delivery cycle. The role is telephone‑focused and requires strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to the sales team, answering customer queries promptly.
• Process customer orders, chase order status and follow up on deliveries.
• Keep clients updated on order progress and manage expectations.
• Arrange collection of unwanted or damaged goods after delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve order‑related issues.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience, preferably in a sales or after‑sales environment.
• Ability to manage a high volume of telephone calls and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a confident, can‑do attitude.
• Experience with phone‑based customer contact is considered an advantage.
