Isolation Manager

About the role

Apex Educ8 Ltd is recruiting an experienced Isolation Manager for a secondary school in North West London. The role focuses on creating a calm, structured environment for students who need temporary isolation due to challenging behaviour, helping them reflect, stay engaged with learning, and reintegrate successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the school’s Isolation Provision.
• Support students displaying challenging behaviour and deliver restorative conversations.
• Maintain accurate behaviour records and intervention logs.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, heads of year, and pastoral teams.
• Promote safeguarding, positive behaviour, and a structured learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Previous experience in secondary education as an Isolation Manager, Behaviour Mentor, Behaviour Manager, Pastoral Support, Inclusion Officer, or Reflection Room Manager.
• Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation abilities.
• Experience supporting students with SEMH or additional behavioural needs.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and professional resilience.
