About the role

Our client, a leading UK managed service provider, is seeking an IT Consultant to deliver sustainable technology solutions for schools across the South West. The role combines remote work with regular site visits to clients in the Greater Bristol, Gloucester, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Somerset area.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver sustainable IT solutions for schools and educational organisations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to local authorities, construction companies and private clients.
• Manage projects from design through implementation.
• Conduct weekly on‑site visits while maintaining a remote working base.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Manager, Operations Manager or senior network engineer.
• Background in school ICT or education‑focused IT environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and decision‑making abilities.
