About the role
We are seeking a temporary IT Lecturer to join Hertford Regional College on a part‑time basis. The role involves delivering IT Level 1‑3 courses at our Broxbourne campus for 14 hours per week, starting September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Teach IT Level 1, 2 and 3 modules to learners on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- Design and deliver engaging, inspirational lessons that enhance student progress and employability.
- Provide support and feedback to students to help them develop practical IT skills.
- Collaborate with fellow staff while using your own initiative to improve the learning experience.
Required profile
- Passion for teaching and ability to motivate young people.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
- Competent use of IT systems and a proven track record in IT.
- IT qualification Level 3 or higher; teaching qualification highly desirable.
- Willingness to undergo DBS clearance.
