IT Support & AV Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Support & AV Engineer to join a growing local MSP in Aberdeen. You will deliver first‑ and second‑line support for a diverse client base, covering IT infrastructure, end‑user devices, networking and audio‑visual solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑line IT support to business clients.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop PCs, laptops and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and security policies.
• Install and maintain network infrastructure such as switches, routers and Wi‑Fi systems.
• Install, configure and test AV systems – projectors, interactive displays, digital signage and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Support meeting‑room technology, boardroom AV and unified communications platforms.
• Carry out AV installations, cabling, screen mounting, speaker setups and rack configuration.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in AV hardware, control systems and conferencing platforms.
• Perform onsite client visits for installations, maintenance, support and live events.
• Assist with design, implementation and preventative maintenance of AV solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update help‑desk tickets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT support, AV integration or a managed service provider environment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Organised, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced technical setting.
