IT Support Engineer – Rotherham

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative manufacturing company in Rotherham to find an experienced IT Support Engineer. You will join the internal IT team, providing hands‑on support across infrastructure, systems, and end‑users while contributing to digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, networks and users.
• Troubleshoot and administer Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and telephony.
• Handle user account administration, password resets, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Assist with hardware refreshes, system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues to senior engineers or third‑party providers when needed.

Required profile

• Strong technical support background with hands‑on experience in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑moving internal IT team.
• Willingness to contribute to IT improvement and digital transformation projects.
