IT Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our fast‑growing Managed Service Provider in Central London. The role is full‑time, on‑site with an immediate start and the possibility to move to a hybrid model in the future. You will be the first point of contact for a diverse client base, delivering friendly 1st‑line technical support and taking ownership of issues until they are resolved or escalated.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st‑line support via phone, email and on‑site visits for desktop, laptop and mobile devices.
• Manage Microsoft 365 admin centres – create and maintain mailboxes, users and permissions.
• Deploy and troubleshoot devices using MDM tools such as Autopilot, PDQ and SCCM.
• Diagnose and resolve basic networking problems (IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Escalate complex incidents to subject‑matter experts while maintaining clear documentation.

Required profile

• Passionate about technology and eager to learn.
• Clear, confident communication skills for help‑desk calls and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Interest in cybersecurity best practices.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (mailbox, user, permission management).
• Desktop, laptop and mobile device setup and troubleshooting.
• MDM tools – Autopilot, PDQ, SCCM.
• Microsoft 365 applications – Outlook, Office Suite, OneDrive, Teams.
• Basic networking concepts – IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN.
• Cybersecurity basics – antivirus, phishing awareness, password security.
• Active Directory / Entra ID administration (highly desirable).
• VPN and secure remote‑access solutions (highly desirable).
