IT Technician (Prep School)

About the role

Cheltenham College is looking for an approachable IT Technician to provide day‑to‑day technical support for staff and pupils in its Prep School. You will become a trusted presence, ensuring that classroom and office technology runs smoothly while working closely with the wider College IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line IT support for staff devices, pupils, printers, audio‑visual equipment and classroom technology.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Assist with the setup, maintenance and deployment of iPads, Apple Macs and Windows PCs.
• Support school events and performances where technology is required.
• Collaborate with the central IT team to improve services and maintain a secure IT environment.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with teachers, pupils and senior IT staff.
