Italian Speaking Travel and Operations Coordinator

About the role

A well-established family-run business with international operations is looking for an Italian-speaking Travel and Operations Coordinator in Haywards Heath. The role manages logistics and customer service in Italy so that travel operations run smoothly and customers are well supported. It involves working with local partners, coordinating with internal teams and solving customer problems. Hybrid work is considered after training.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for suppliers, partners and UK-based teams
• Liaise with suppliers such as hotels, coach companies and other service providers
• Resolve issues that arise during organised trips
• Confirm and manage itineraries, bookings, services and accommodation
• Ensure all accommodations and activities meet health and safety standards
• Negotiate supplier rates
• Facilitate communication between the travel coordinator and suppliers
• Travel to Italy during peak season

Required profile

• Fluent Italian (written and spoken) is essential
• Experience in the travel industry, especially ski group travel, is beneficial
• Experience and a passion for skiing required
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability and comfort working independently
• IT literate and willing to travel to Italy

The salary is up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience. The position is advertised as closed.
