Job Coach – Support Neurodivergent Learners

About the role

ONELAB College is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to help neurodivergent young people aged 16‑25 transition from education to meaningful employment and independent adult life. Working on‑site in East London, you will create structured, supportive experiences that build confidence, workplace skills and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Support learners during work placements, enterprise activities and employability programmes.
• Reinforce workplace expectations, communication, professionalism and responsibility.
• Build confidence, resilience and emotional regulation in learners.
• Encourage increasing independence rather than dependency.
• Develop learners’ workplace readiness and life‑skills.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employers and placement providers.
• Act as the primary point of contact between ONELAB and employers.
• Monitor placement quality, learner wellbeing and progression.
• Teach safe working practices, health & safety procedures and risk awareness.
• Complete placement records, risk assessments and accurate documentation.

• Salary £22,000‑£25,000 per year.
• Full‑time, on‑site role in East London (Tower Hamlets).
