About the role

Reed Insurance is looking for a motivated Junior Broker to join its growing team in Southend‑on‑Sea. This entry‑level, full‑time position offers a blend of sales‑driven activities and hands‑on client support, with a hybrid working model (two days remote). You will work with high‑quality leads supplied by the marketing team and develop your expertise in insurance broking.

Key responsibilities

• Convert inbound leads into new business opportunities.
• Engage with prospective clients to assess their insurance needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present competitive quotations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
• Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure optimal terms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or experience in the insurance industry (essential).
• Experience in a sales or customer‑facing role is preferred.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Acturis or a similar insurance platform.
