Junior Developer

About the role

Superdrug is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join its Head Office tech team in Croydon. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with a Scrum‑based development group to build and maintain internal retail applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Stores Intranet using C#, Bootstrap and SQL Server.
• Contribute to Stock Management and Order & Collect mobile apps built with Xamarin/Flutter and .NET Core.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Write, test, document and deploy software solutions.
• Collaborate with third‑party partners and act as a technical liaison.
• Support and enhance existing systems and create DevOps pipelines.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience with the Microsoft development stack or a relevant Computer Science degree.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio.NET Framework (4.6+), MVC 5 and SQL Server (2008‑2022).
• Experience with Windows operating systems (7/11) and source‑control systems (Git preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
