Junior Events & Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Events & Marketing Assistant to join London Tech Leaders, a fast‑growing events brand at the heart of the UK technology scene. Working closely with the Head of Events, you will help deliver a portfolio of more than ten high‑profile events each year, supporting both the planning and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate event administration and logistics, including venue sourcing, speaker and supplier management, and executive dinner organisation.
• Maintain event calendars, deadlines and post‑event feedback loops to continuously improve the experience.
• Lead the planning and execution of community events, acting as the primary point of contact for sponsors, speakers and partners.
• Support the creation and rollout of event marketing campaigns, producing brochures, merchandise and digital assets.
• Manage email campaigns, landing page updates and social‑media channels (especially LinkedIn) to drive ticket sales and audience engagement.
• Keep the company website up‑to‑date with upcoming events and related content.

Required profile

• Ambitious, creative and eager to learn.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in marketing, events or a similar role.
• Highly detail‑oriented, hyper‑organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, deadline‑driven and comfortable thinking two steps ahead.
