Senior Marketing Manager – UK, Europe & Africa

About the role

Join Qantas as the Senior Marketing Manager responsible for shaping and delivering the airline’s marketing strategy across the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa. You will play a pivotal role in promoting Qantas’ flagship initiatives, including the ambitious Project Sunrise non‑stop flights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute B2C and B2B marketing plans for the region, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned media, overseeing creative direction, media planning and performance.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with tourism bodies, airports and airline partners to extend brand reach.
• Brief, manage and evaluate internal and external creative and media agencies, keeping work on brand, on brief and on budget.
• Own the regional marketing budget, allocate investments, track spend and report financial performance.
• Set and maintain a measurement framework, using data and commercial insight to drive ROI.
• Collaborate with regional, commercial and head‑office teams to align marketing activities with broader business priorities.
• Define and execute the customer engagement and events strategy for the region.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in marketing, commercial strategy or go‑to‑market roles.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with complex stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budget management and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
