Junior Hotel Duty Manager – Reigate

About the role

Our client, a well‑established hotel in Reigate, is seeking a motivated Junior Hotel Duty Manager to support daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to develop management skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, acting as a point of contact for guests and team members.
• Support Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments to maintain service and presentation standards.
• Deliver prompt, professional handling of guest enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Supervise and motivate team members, help coordinate shifts and maintain staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures, responding to incidents as needed.
• Complete daily operational reports, manage cash handling and support service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience working within a hotel environment.
• Experience in a supervisory, team‑leader or senior hospitality role.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
