Junior IT Technician – First‑line Support

About the role

The Junior IT Technician will provide first‑line technical support to employees and help maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure devices and contribute to network operations. This role is essential for ensuring reliable day‑to‑day IT services across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Log, track and resolve tickets within agreed service levels.
• Set up, configure and maintain user devices such as tablets, phones and workstations.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and equipment roll‑outs.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when required.
• Deliver friendly, professional assistance to ensure a positive user experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users.
• Good time‑management and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to follow instructions and ask questions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

• Experience using a ticketing system to manage support requests.
