Junior Merchandiser – Nike

About the role

The Junior Merchandiser will work with the Nike buying and merchandising team to ensure the right products reach customers at the right time. You will develop assortment strategies using internal data, historic trends and competitor performance while managing the supplier relationship with Nike. The role involves commercial merchandising activities across planning, trading and product lifecycle execution.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of planning and trading with support from the Merchandiser.
• Ensure departmental framework commercialises product strategy and delivers business KPIs.
• Drive department vision and strategy in partnership with internal and external teams.
• Work with buying to place future and in‑season buys, manage availability targets and pricing throughout the product lifecycle.
• Optimise the critical path and product lifecycle using forecasting tools and maintain stock levels.

Required profile

• Retail professional with merchandising experience.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to analyse and present data.
• High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to build internal and external relationships and work cross‑functionally.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good decision‑making and prioritisation skills.
