Junior Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

This position offers an entry‑level opportunity to support a growing financial planning team. You will work closely with advisers and senior paraplanners, gaining exposure to a wide range of pension, investment and protection products while developing your technical knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing suitability reports and recommendations for clients.
• Research pensions, investments and protection solutions.
• Obtain provider information and illustrations.
• Support advisers and paraplanners during client reviews.
• Prepare meeting documentation and review packs.
• Assist with cash‑flow modelling and technical research.
• Maintain accurate client records and back‑office systems.

Required profile

• Experience in a Financial Planning Administrator or Junior Paraplanner role.
• Ideally 18 months+ experience within wealth management.
• Progress towards CII exams is advantageous.
• Good understanding of an IFA role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Desire to develop into a fully‑fledged paraplanner.
