Junior Product Developer / Buyer

About the role

This position sits directly beside the Head of Product, running the day‑to‑day product engine for a fast‑growing UK lingerie brand. You will own the development pipeline, supplier relationships and sample approvals, giving the Head of Product space to focus on strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product assortment in line with brand vision and performance targets.
• Manage the full product development lifecycle – from brief creation, supplier sourcing and sample tracking to final approvals.
• Maintain and update range plans, ensuring timelines and critical paths are met without constant follow‑up.
• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor costs and quality, and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
• Analyse sales and market data to inform buying decisions and optimise the product mix.

Required profile

• Currently working as a Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Product Developer with a strong passion for product.
• Highly organised, detail‑driven and able to keep multiple trackers moving independently.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can take ownership of their lane and deliver results without hand‑holding.
• Excellent communicator, able to build strong professional relationships across internal teams and external suppliers.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced start‑up environment and thriving on autonomy.
