Junior Product Specialist

About the role

Our client is seeking a Junior Product Specialist to join their product development team in Oldham. This entry‑level position offers the chance to move from supporting product creation to actively developing and managing smaller product ranges. You will work closely with senior specialists to learn the full product lifecycle, from trend identification to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage smaller product ranges and development projects.
• Collaborate with Senior Product Specialists on key brands.
• Develop understanding of product specifications and technical requirements.
• Assist with costing processes and supplier conversations.
• Build knowledge of manufacturing processes and product components.
• Research competitors, trends and market opportunities.
• Contribute new ideas and inspiration to product discussions.
• Partner with design teams to help bring concepts to life.
• Support internal reviews and customer presentations.
