Junior Web Developer – Front‑End Focus

About the role

Blue Oak Consulting is seeking a Junior Web Developer to build and maintain front‑end tools that visualise economic analysis for clients. The position is fully remote and part of a collaborative team that turns complex data into clear, actionable dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop user interfaces for data‑heavy dashboards using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate design mockups into functional, responsive web components.
• Expand and maintain an internal library of reusable code and components.
• Monitor performance and optimise loading times across browsers.
• Identify and resolve bugs, layout inconsistencies, and cross‑browser issues.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation updates, and collaborative planning with technical leads.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and DOM manipulation.
• Logical problem‑solving ability and strong attention to visual detail.
• Effective communication skills for remote teamwork.
