Key Account Manager

About the role

Upergy, a leading French group delivering mobile and autonomous energy solutions, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join its UK team at the Solihull site. Reporting to the Country Director and working within the commercial department, you will be responsible for growing existing B2B relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the West Midlands region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop existing customers by creating strategic partnerships and delivering tailored energy solutions.
• Produce, implement and maintain account development plans for a portfolio of key accounts.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within the assigned portfolio.
• Provide accurate forecasting and achieve monthly KPI and revenue targets.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Upergy’s product and service range.
• Negotiate contracts with key clients and ensure deadlines are met.
• Compile regular reports on account progress, goals and forecasts for management.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the business to deliver the best service.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the energy or technology sector.
• Proven ability to win and manage public‑private tenders.
• Strong negotiation and leadership capabilities.
• Higher education in commerce or a related field.
• Confident telephone manner and tenacious sales approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using a CRM system.
