Key Account Manager - Medical Consumables

About the role

This Key Account Manager position focuses on building and expanding relationships with corporate healthcare groups, veterinary practices, and independent clinics across South East England. You will work remotely while travelling nationally to meet clients, delivering tailored medical consumable solutions that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with corporate group head offices and associated practices.
• Develop and execute business plans to exceed organic growth targets.
• Analyse spend data to uncover upsell opportunities and improve under‑performing sites.
• Maintain strong connections with procurement and clinical decision‑makers.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide performance updates.
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Resolve escalated issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Represent the business at monthly sales meetings and occasional head‑office visits.
• Own pipeline activity and achieve agreed KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven track record in medical or veterinary product sales, managing a large portfolio.
• Commercially driven with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management and diary planning.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work remotely.
