Kitchen Assistant

About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant at Havelock Tavern, you will play a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods. You will ensure the workspace is well‑stocked, clean and ready for the team to deliver great dishes to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels and keep the kitchen area tidy and organized.
• Support hygiene standards and safety regulations to protect staff and customers.
• Assist the kitchen team by providing necessary items and equipment during service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to support the team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop kitchen skills.
• Good spoken and written English for safety and allergen controls.
