Kitchen Team Member

About the role

Slug & Lettuce, part of Stonegate Group, is looking for a Kitchen Team Member for its venue in Plymouth's Barbican area. This is a permanent part-time position at £11 to £13.60 per hour, open until 25 November 2026. The role helps the business succeed while giving you the chance to develop your skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with orders and stock taking, and help maintain food hygiene
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times
• Oversee deliveries
• Suggest improvements to the kitchen's performance and work with the team to hit company targets

Required profile

• A passion for hospitality
• A willingness to learn new skills every day
• A keen eye for detail
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment
