About the role
Primary schools across Tonbridge are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Supply Teachers to provide high‑quality classroom cover on a day‑to‑day and short‑term basis. The role is ideal for early‑career teachers or experienced practitioners who want flexible work while supporting pupils in the early years of education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver well‑prepared lessons for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and schedules.
- Support pupil wellbeing and progress in an inclusive setting.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to build rapid, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to helping every child develop confidence and achieve their potential.
