KS2 Phase Lead & Year 6 Teacher – Wandsworth (Sep 2026 start)

About the role

This full‑time position starts in September 2026 at a high‑performing primary school in Wandsworth. You will combine the responsibilities of a KS2 Phase Lead with teaching a Year 6 class, supporting pupils through SATs and their transition to secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6.
• Lead the KS2 phase, coordinating curriculum planning across Years 3‑6.
• Use assessment data to raise attainment and monitor progress.
• Support and mentor fellow KS2 teachers, fostering collaborative practice.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and CPD programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and preparing pupils for SATs.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
