Laborer – Field Locations Nationwide

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Laborer to support construction and environmental remediation projects across the nation. The role involves performing general labor tasks safely and efficiently at various field sites under the direction of a foreman or site superintendent.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general labor functions at construction or industrial sites, including fence installation, site clean‑up, and flagging trucks.
• Operate small hand‑held power tools such as chainsaws and power augers.
• Receive, organize, and manage daily paperwork including truck tags.
• Install and erect structures safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily pre‑inspections and ongoing maintenance checks of the work area.
• Communicate material placement via hand signals, radio, or visual cues.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials; report site maintenance issues.
• Follow all company and site safety policies; participate in Job Safety Analysis.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug test, and background check.
• Good hearing and vision; able to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive physical tasks without fatigue.
• Basic proficiency in oral and written communication and mathematics.

Required skills

• 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
• First Aid/CPR (obtainable upon hire).
• Forklift operation (preferred, obtainable upon hire).
• Use of hand‑held power tools (chainsaw, power auger).
• Basic safety and incident reporting procedures.
