Landscape Architect - Junior, Mid & Senior

About the role

An award-winning landscape-led design practice, with studios in Birmingham and the South East, is expanding its Birmingham team and is open to applications from Landscape Architects at all levels, from recently chartered or junior designers to experienced seniors. The practice works on large-scale infrastructure, urban regeneration and strategic green infrastructure, and offers mentoring and support at every stage of project development.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in all stages of project development, from early concepts and planning through to delivery and implementation
• Work on masterplanning, town and city regeneration, infrastructure and transport projects, residential and mixed-use developments, and green infrastructure
• Senior applicants take on additional leadership duties such as team mentoring, project management and client liaison

Required profile

• A relevant qualification in Landscape Architecture (e.g. MA, MLA or equivalent)
• A portfolio showing thoughtful, place-led design across a variety of projects
• Strong communication skills and a team mindset
• For senior roles: experience managing projects, clients and/or junior team members
• Chartered status (CMLI) is desirable for mid/senior roles but not essential

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Revit or GIS, ideally
