About the role
Join HC‑One as a part‑time Laundry Assistant, working 16 hours a week in a caring environment. You will help keep residents' clothing and linen clean, comfortable and ready for use.
Key responsibilities
- Wash, dry, iron and repair residents' clothing and linen.
- Maintain daily linen stocks and report any issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
- Fold, sort and distribute clean items to the correct rooms.
- Ensure the laundry area remains tidy, safe and welcoming.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a laundry or similar role is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Positive, kind attitude with good communication skills.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and willingness to attend related training.
