Lead Fire Engineer

About the role

Operations Resources is seeking a Lead Fire Engineer to oversee fire alarm systems in large residential blocks across the Ealing area. This senior position combines hands‑on service work with technical leadership, ensuring reliable safety systems for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service calls, planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on fire alarm installations.
• Provide technical escalation support and mentorship to junior Fire Alarm Field Service Engineers.
• Train team members on system diagnostics, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Systems Engineer, preferably within multi‑storey residential blocks.
• Full manual driver’s licence and ability to travel within a reasonable distance of Ealing.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to act as a technical point of contact.
