Learning Activity Specialist

About the role

The Learning Activity Specialist will oversee the delivery and management of learning programmes across ASDA, ensuring high‑quality training experiences for colleagues. Working within a hybrid model, you will collaborate with multiple teams while spending at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage learning content, courses, programmes and curricula within Workday Learning.
• Coordinate learning deployment, scheduling and communications.
• Administer First Aid learning activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Resolve complex learner queries and operational issues.
• Maintain data accuracy, governance compliance and service standards.
• Monitor learning activity performance, produce reports, dashboards and management information.
• Support learning governance frameworks and identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to learning processes, systems and learner experiences.
• Support the implementation of new learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning operations, training delivery or related L&D functions.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex queries and provide effective solutions.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data governance and quality.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to work in a hybrid environment.
