Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Based at the Tyrrells Court Farm site near Leominster, the Learning & Development Manager will drive a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. You will design, implement and manage training programmes that support operational excellence and align workforce development with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate training records, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support audits.
• Design and deliver technical, safety and compliance training using workshops, e‑learning and on‑the‑job methods.
• Partner with managers to identify skill gaps, align development initiatives with business objectives and measure programme effectiveness.
• Lead leadership development, succession planning and high‑potential programmes in collaboration with HR.
• Promote a coaching culture and encourage colleague participation in learning opportunities across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering technical, compliance and leadership programmes.
• Strong coaching and development abilities, with accreditation a plus.
• Background in Learning & Development within complex organisations, balancing operational and functional priorities.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
• Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital training platforms.
• Genuine enthusiasm for supporting individual and organisational growth.
