About the role
As a Learning & Development Specialist at Office Angels, you will join a market‑leading logistics company in Grays, supporting the growth and capability of the workforce through strategic learning initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, identifying and assessing L&D needs across the organisation.
- Lead L&D projects including needs analysis, programme design, supplier selection and implementation.
- Source, evaluate and manage external training providers to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
- Develop, update and enhance learning content and programmes aligned with business objectives.
- Review and redesign existing training materials to keep them engaging and relevant.
- Upload, maintain and administer content on online learning platforms.
- Research and introduce innovative digital learning solutions.
- Produce and present management reports using Excel and PowerPoint, tracking activity and KPIs.
- Manage, coach and develop a team of two L&D Coordinators.
- Respond to L&D enquiries, providing advice and support to employees and managers.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Coordinate school and community outreach to attract apprenticeship candidates.
- Support apprenticeship and early‑career programmes to build future talent pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development or a related HR discipline.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities, able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated experience designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £40,000‑£45,000 per annum.
- Full‑time permanent role with a hybrid working pattern (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
- Standard office hours (8 am‑4 pm or 9 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday).
