Learning & Development Trainer – South of England

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Learning & Development Trainer to join our in‑house team, delivering high‑impact training across our southern health and social care services. This full‑time, home‑based role involves travelling to multiple sites to ensure staff have the confidence and competence to provide the highest standard of care.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a range of specialist training courses, including Safer People Handling – Core Skills, Risk Assessment, Fire Warden Marshall and others.
• Travel to Cygnet sites across the South of England to conduct face‑to‑face sessions.
• Assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Confident, engaging and passionate about delivering life‑saving education.
• Experience working within a health or social care setting.
• Proven experience delivering training or teaching.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for resuscitation and developing others.
• Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH training and Level 3 Award (or above) in Education and Training.
