About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Winchester. You will work closely with class teachers to help young learners, particularly those with special educational needs, thrive in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1‑to‑1 and small‑group support for pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2.
- Assist with classroom activities, school trips, playground and lunchtime supervision.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning materials and strategies.
- Help develop pupils’ independence and confidence.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role.
- Experience working with SEN children is advantageous.
- Calm, resilient, flexible and able to work well within a team.
- Passionate about children’s learning and development.
