About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our special school in Rainham. You will work with secondary and post‑secondary students who have additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support secondary and post‑secondary aged students in lessons and daily activities
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teaching staff and specialist teams
- Adapt learning support to meet individual student needs
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required profile
- Experience supporting children or young people (desirable)
- Patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working within special educational needs
- Commitment to education and training
