About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join a global energy business in London. The role focuses on managing complex cross‑border litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigations, providing commercial‑focused legal support to the business.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage litigation and arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Handle regulatory and investigation issues, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Oversee contentious commercial disputes and coordinate external counsel.
Develop and implement strategic risk management initiatives.
Collaborate closely with business units in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required profile

Strong background in litigation and disputes handling.
Experience with cross‑border matters and international stakeholders.
Pragmatic, commercially‑focused approach.
England & Wales qualification preferred.
Prior exposure to energy, infrastructure, projects or commodities sectors is beneficial but not essential.
