Legal Personal Assistant – Mental Health & Court of Protection

About the role

Our client, a progressive professional services organisation, is seeking a highly organised Legal Personal Assistant to support the Mental Health & Court of Protection team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will work closely with legal professionals, ensuring cases move forward efficiently while providing compassionate service to vulnerable clients and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple inboxes, prioritising and responding to emails promptly.
• Coordinate complex diaries, schedule appointments and avoid conflicts.
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and well‑structured filing systems.
• Provide proactive administrative support to enable fee earners to work efficiently.
• Assist with the smooth progression of cases and client matters.
• Liaise professionally with clients, healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders.
