Legal Recruitment Consultant – Placement of Solicitors

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Recruitment Consultant to join our Brighton team, focusing on placing solicitors with leading UK law firms. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong client and candidate relationships, and contribute to the growth of Henderson Scott’s legal division.

Key responsibilities

• Source, engage and assess top‑tier legal candidates.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from interview coordination to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain relationships with law firms and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client partnerships.
• Stay informed on legal market trends to position the firm as a leading recruitment provider.
• Support and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• University graduate with experience in a fast‑paced, sales‑driven environment.
